Please handle the necklace carefully as it is a one-of-one delicate handmade piece. Since porcelain is lightweight, it is also fragile, so always be mindful of impacts that can chip or crack the pendant.
In order to reduce the risk of fraying, a ribbon necklace must be handled with extra special attention.
Avoid water and moisture. Remove the necklace before swimming, showering, exercising, or in very hot, humid conditions, to prevent tarnishing, dullness and damaging.
Avoid chemicals. The necklace should be kept away from perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, cleaning agents, etc. as these can cause discoloration or staining.
Store the necklace in a cool, dry place. Use an airtight container or jewellery box/pouch to protect the silver from tarnishing or fabric from fraying. This also helps protect the porcelain, charms and metal from scratches or impacts.
Sterling silver requires periodical cleaning with a silver polishing cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Stainless steel can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth.
Ribbon can be cleaned by hand with lukewarm, mild soapy water. Use a cloth to delicately remove excess water then let dry.
Porcelain can be wiped gently with a soft, damp cloth and dried right after.
